How to Withdraw from the Valencian New Private Health Scheme.
If, having joined the scheme, you find that you want to leave it for any of the following reasons:
a. On retirement and in receipt of form E121 from the UK, and wish to re-register for free health care as a "Pensionista".
b. Can no longer afford the quarterly quota, and wish to apply under "sin recursos".
c. For any other reason, including taking out health cover with a Private Insurance Company
In order to move onto or apply for another scheme you will have to deregister from the convenio (Private Health Scheme) in writing.
You can do this by sending a fax, for the attention of Paqui Perez, on 966478324.
You will also have to give the reason for wanting to come off the scheme: por jubilación (on retirement ) or baja
voluntaria (voluntary, in order to apply "sin recursos", or for any other reason).
If you don't have access to a fax you can write to Paqui at the Conselleria in Alicante. The address is:
