C.L.A.R.O spokesman Antonio Cerdan interviewed by radio and TV stations at the Presentation of the Petition to Save Cala Mosca at Orihuela Town Hall on 26 March 2010.

7,000 people do not want more houses being built in Orihuela Costa, especially on this last parcel of land with a view of the Mediterranean sea.
They want a landscaped area for children to play, to relax and enjoy. Save Cala Mosca, No mas casas, Save our Coast, Salvar Cala Mosca, No more houses, was chanted for approx 1 hour before thanking the Police and departing to Orihuela Costa by coach.
Monica promised at the local elections in 2007 that Cala Mosca would not be developed, but soon after her taking office as Mayoress broke her promise and granted a licence for the development of 1,550 properties. C.L.A.R.O hope that Monica and the ruling party will do a U turn and keep her promise to the people of Orihuela and Orihuela Costa.
