More New Homes for Torrevieja

The EUPV (United Left of Valencia) party have asked the councillor Juan Cotino to explain the unbelievable approval of the partial plan at La Hoya, Torrevieja, within the perimetre of the protected Natural Park. A press release from the party states, “The PP continue their policy of reclassifying the soil in order to facilitate new urban jungles, in this case more than 7,900 homes for 24,000 new residents, which is completely ridiculous when you consider the fact that in the city of Torrevieja over half the homes in new urbanisations are for sale.   (Reported in The Leader)
